Lean Portfolio Management Workshop

SAFe is becoming the framework of choice for enterprises in need to align the organisation and its Agile teams in order to be able to deliver valuable, high quality product increments with transparency and technical excellence.

 

This workshop provides an understanding of how to practically use the tools and techniques necessary to implement Strategy and Investment Funding, Agile Portfolio Operations, and Lean Governance.

Workshop participants will learn to align portfolio execution to the enterprise strategy, by organizing Agile development around the flow of value through one or more value streams. It enables business agility by applying the principles and practices of Lean Portfolio Management (LPM).

Topics Covered

During this one-day workshop, you will learn how to maintain alignment by enabling the three key collaborations across the portfolio: 1. Strategy and investment funding, 2. Lean governance, 3. Agile portfolio operations, by:

​

  • Identifying strategic themes that provide the differentiation needed by the portfolio to achieve the desired future state

  • Forecasting, and dynamically funding value streams to adjust for changing priorities

  • Identifying portfolio epics and managing their flow using the portfolio Kanban system

  • Coordinating epic delivery across value streams

  • Measuring portfolio performance using Lean approaches

  • Coordinating continuous compliance
